Self-employed Visiting Music Teacher - Double Reed
Required from September 2026

We wish to appoint a self-employed Visiting Music Teacher to teach Double Reed at Norwich High School for Girls.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with talented and enthusiastic pupils aged three to eighteen in our thriving Music Department. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for music and will be proactive in promoting and encouraging interest in their specialism.

Due to the nature of the work involving weekly 1:1 tuition sessions, the successful candidate must live within a manageable commute to the school. They should also be well qualified in their musical specialism, whilst being enthusiastic, adaptable and innovative in their teaching.

Music lessons at Norwich High School are taught on a rotational timetable and are 30 minutes in length. Visiting Music Teachers are self-employed and are required to invoice the parents directly, timetabling lessons through our SOCS calendar system.
