An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative teacher of Religious Studies to join our highly successful Religious Studies department. With superb in-house staff development programmes and a wealth of support through the GDST, we are well placed to develop Early Career Teachers and more experienced teachers alike.

Through the study of Religion at Putney High School, pupils develop a deep and broad appreciation of the variety of belief and practice both in the UK and globally. In our teaching, we place great importance on the role of debate and discussion, developing a deep enjoyment of academic challenge through critical thinking and analysis, and engendering personal introspection.

Our pupils appreciate the passion and expertise of the Religious Studies department, their commitment to the pursuit of consistently excellent results, and their exceptional care for the students. We are looking for someone with vision, commitment and energy to join an outstanding department. You will promote excellence in teaching and learning to ensure all pupils develop their potential through the planning and delivery of high quality, innovative and engaging lessons.

If you have a passion for Religious Studies and are committed to inspiring students to achieve high standards, we would be delighted to hear from you.
