We are looking for a dynamic, creative and inspirational teacher with drive and high standards to fill a full-time Teacher of French post from January 2026 to cover the maternity leave of our current Head of French. The appointed candidate will be an experienced teacher able to contribute to the development of the Faculty. They will join an innovative and forward–looking department. The appointee’s timetable will consist almost entirely of French teaching, but the ability to teach KS4 Spanish would also be an advantage. Please specify in your application all the experience you have of teaching languages and to what level.
The role advertised is a full time post, but part time applications may be considered if we believe that suitable candidates could cover the requirements in combination. Please make it clear in your application if you are not able to fulfil a full time role, and/or what FTE would suit you best.
Despite being advertised as a teaching role, the management responsibilities and allowance associated with the Head of French post could also be included for the right candidate. Please specify in your application if you are interested in this opportunity.
