The Role:

We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Biology who can deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, with the ability to teach Chemistry at Key Stage 4 desirable. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a genuine passion for inspiring young people to achieve their full potential. You will be a collaborative team player with a commitment to continuous professional development, capable of contributing to both the academic and pastoral life of the school, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and student wellbeing.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Biology teacher to join a thriving and well-resourced Science Faculty at Croydon High School. Teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5, you will inspire curiosity, foster a love of scientific enquiry, and support pupils in achieving excellent academic outcomes. Working within a collaborative and high-performing department, you will contribute to a dynamic curriculum that promotes intellectual challenge, independent thinking, and a deep understanding of science.
