RGS Worcester seeks to appoint an inspirational, highly motivated, and dedicated Science Technician to join our Science department on a fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
This is an exciting opportunity, especially for a Science graduate, to join a busy, thriving Science Faculty. You will be working as part of a team of three technicians who support practical work across Key Stages 3–5 in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. The laboratories at RGS Worcester are extremely well-resourced, and practical work is at the heart of our curriculum.
Every day will be different, but there will also be an element of routine. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and organising practical resources and equipment to support the teachers in the Science Faculty. They will need a sound understanding of health and safety procedures. They will be expected to work collaboratively and positively with the two other Science Technicians, as well as teaching staff across the Faculty.
Early application is encouraged. Details of interview will be confirmed to shortlisted candidates in due course.
All candidates are required to apply via the eTeach online application form (no CVs will be accepted). Please see the attached Information Pack for further details.
