The Cathedral School Llandaff, Cardiff’s leading independent school for girls and boys, seeks to appoint a creative and enthusiastic Forest School Leader who is passionate about outdoor learning experiences, to join the team on a permanent basis from March 2026. The role will include leading Forest School sessions for children in the local community and prospective pupils of the school.
The hours of work will be agreed before the start of each academic year and fall in line with the school’s Forest School provision. This academic year the role is for one day per week, on Tuesdays 8.00am until 11.00am, for the duration of each block of our Little Explorers events. Opportunities to support further Forest School provision arise regularly, should additional hours be desirable. The rate of pay will be £13.27 per hour.
Lunch is provided daily during term time for all staff free of charge. You will be entitled to 4 weeks’ paid holiday (pro rata), to be taken during the school holidays, plus any Bank/Public Holidays. Staff are enrolled into an ‘auto-enrolment’ pension scheme. The Wellbeing Committee helps to support staff welfare, and all staff have access to a gym, and weekly yoga and pilates sessions.
