Sir William Perkins’s School is seeking to appoint an inspiring and strategic Director of Sixth Form to join our Extended Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be the driving force behind an exceptional Sixth Form experience, working closely with the Heads of Year to ensure every student has the academic and pastoral support they need to flourish and reach their full potential.
The post-holder will oversee the Sixth Form Centre, curating a space with a positive learning culture, academic focus, and a genuine sense of community. The selected candidate will lead the UCAS application process, guiding students through their journey to higher education and supporting them in securing the best possible outcomes. As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, the Director of Sixth Form will also contribute to the school’s wider vision, including co-curricular engagement and supporting a culture of professional excellence across the school.
Beyond the day-to-day life of the Sixth Form, the post-holder will play a strategic role in the school’s growth. In partnership with the Director of External Relations, the Director of Sixth Form will shape and deliver an effective marketing, recruitment, and retention strategies to expand the Sixth Form and strengthen relationships within the community even further.
