Wycliffe College are seeking to appoint a Deputy Head (Academic) at our Senior School. This is a pivotal role, where the postholder will drive academic excellence across the school, and work closely with the Head and Senior Leadership Team to shape and deliver a clear strategic vision for teaching, learning and pupil achievement. The successful candidate will be an outstanding educational leader with a proven track record of securing excellent outcomes at GCSE and A Level, leading curriculum innovation, and using data intelligently to identify priorities and improve performance. In addition, they will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of effective pedagogy, assessment and curriculum development, coupled with the ability to inspire colleagues to achieve the highest standards in the classroom.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading teams, managing change and fostering a culture of high expectations, accountability and continuous improvement. Terms of Appointment
This is a permanent position, offered on a full-time basis.
Start Date: January 2027 (an earlier start may be considered).
Salary: Competitive, on the College’s leadership scale, commensurate with the experience of the successful candidate.
