We are seeking to appoint a motivated, professional and enthusiastic Cover Teacher to start in January 2027. The role will support the Deputy Heads in the Senior Section in the management of cover lessons in the school for pupils from Year 7 to Year 11.

The pupils at the school are great fun and work hard.  In the Senior section, our curriculum is designed to provide experience of, and the opportunity to learn and make progress in: linguistic; mathematical; scientific; technological; human and social; physical; aesthetic; and creative education.

The curriculum provides breadth and balance for all pupils, with an element of choice post age 13, then allowing increasing specialisation at GCSE from Year 10 onwards. During Years 10 and 11, the majority of our pupils will study for ten GCSE qualifications.

The salary range for the successful candidate will be £17,328 to £18,319 per annum, depending on experience.  For further information, please see the candidate pack below.

Standards at the school, academic and behavioural are very high and there is a strong Christian ethos. The school is committed to a policy of equality and aims to ensure that no job applicant, member of staff, student or other member of the school community is treated less favourably on grounds of race (including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin), religion or religious belief, sex or sexual orientation, gender or gender identity, marital or civil partner status, disability or age. It is recognised and welcomed that teaching and support staff will come to the school with a variety of faiths, beliefs and backgrounds.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo full DBS clearance in order to establish their suitability to work with children. Applications are welcome from candidates without a teaching qualification.

Applications are invited by Friday 16th October, 9.00am. Interviews will take place as soon as possible thereafter.
