Permanent contracts:
12.5 hours a week, 4pm – 6.30pm
17.5 hours per week, 5.30am – 9am
Or combined shifts, 30 hours per week

The Role:
We are looking for hardworking and reliable cleaners to join our exceptional cleaning team in Howell’s School. The role involves cleaning all areas of the building after the school day, the collection and disposal of waste, and ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of allocated areas, and in the case of classrooms, their readiness for teaching. This will also involve adhering to safe working practices as required, and assisting with regular deep cleans and with any special arrangements for outside of term time requirements.
Skills, qualifications & experience should include:
• The ability to work effectively both in a team and under your own initiative
• The ability to understand written and oral instructions
• Knowledge and use of basic cleaning equipment & materials
• Honesty and integrity
• Professional & approachable attitude
• Self-motivated with a positive ‘can do’ approach to work
• Reliable & punctual
About the School
Howell’s School, Llandaff, is one of the oldest girls’ school in Wales, having opened in August 1860. Since then, it has steadily expanded, both in terms of student numbers and physical size. The school now caters for girls from the age of 3 to 16 and girls and boys 16-18. Since 1980 it has been a member of the Girls’ Day School Trust, the largest organisation of independent schools in the UK.
