The Position
NLCS Hong Kong is seeking to appoint an outstanding and committed Junior School Teacher and Admissions Lead as we prepare for our official opening in August 2027. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in both the academic life of the Junior School and the development of a new and growing admissions function.
The successful candidate will combine excellent classroom practice with the ability to lead and co-ordinate all aspects of the admissions process. They will ensure that prospective pupils and their families experience a professional, welcoming and efficient journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
The postholder will work closely with the Principal and Partner to develop and implement effective admissions strategies, build strong relationships with prospective families and feeder schools, and promote access to the school in line with its values and ethos.
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for up to three years. As the school moves from pre-opening to operational status, the nature of the role will evolve, with teaching responsibilities commencing once the school opens, and admissions responsibilities reducing or changing shortly before, or at the point of, opening.
NLCS Hong Kong
North London Collegiate School Hong Kong will open in August 2027 to students in KG to Grade 5 in the Wong Tai Sin area of Kowloon. Our Senior School will open in the North Point district of Hong Kong. Both campuses will be co-educational day schools, with our junior campus accommodating up to 500 students, and the senior campus accommodating c500 students. Students from Grades KG to Grade 5 will follow a bespoke curriculum (based on the English National curriculum with local adaptations and elements of PYP. Middle school will follow the MYP, leading to IB diploma in Grades 11 and 12.

International Schools
In 2011 NLCS opened its first international branch school in South Korea: NLCS Jeju. NLCS Jeju is a co-educational day and boarding school and offers the IB Diploma to all students in the Sixth Form and has been ranked the number one IB Diploma school in South Korea, achieving outstanding results since its first cohort of graduating students in 2014. The School’s alumni continue on to excellent universities around the world, including destinations in the UK, USA and Asia, with notable placements at Oxbridge and Ivy League institutions.
In September 2017, NLCS opened its second branch school in the UAE: NLCS Dubai. The School is a co-educational, day school, following the IB Continuum, with students undertaking the IB Diploma in Grade 12. It has achieved the highest average IB diploma score in Dubai for 3 consecutive years.
NLCS (Singapore) opened in August 2020, becoming NLCS’ third branch school. The School is a co-educational day school in the heart of Singapore, offering a bespoke Junior curriculum and the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programmes.
NLCS Kobe opened in August 2025. The Junior School is a co-educational day school located on Rokko Island. The Senior School, which is due to open in August 2028, will also be co-educational but will offer boarding. It is located on Rokko Mountain overlooking the city. The School follows the IB Continuum.
